![]() I'd lay waste to the notion that games ought merely to ape film, drenching themselves in cutscenes and cinematics. ![]() ![]() Finding a Balder Side Sword in Dark Souls was meaningful finding legendary items in most action-RPGs, not so much.Ģ) I'd put a stop to all this stifling linearity, to stories that leave nothing to the imagination. I love loot the same way an addict loves his drug of choice-but I only care about loot when it's meaningful. Here's what my game would look like or, rather, what it would not look like:ġ) I'd do away with mobs and with the frenetic loot gathering we see in so many of these games.
